Dani Bauer is the Executive Director of The Ark Pope Memorial Animal Shelter, a position she’s held since 2022.

Before joining The Ark, Dani honed her skills at Acadia Veterinary Hospital, where she served as a Veterinary Assistant for two years. Prior to that, she spent three years at the SPCA of Hancock County, starting as a volunteer and working her way up to Assistant Manager. Dani is deeply committed to animal welfare, with a particular focus on improving access to veterinary care for underserved communities.
